What drives the design
Before we open Figma, we write a project strategy: which pages exist, what each page does, what the user is supposed to do on it, and what information has to be present for that to happen. You approve the strategy before any visual work begins. This is the most important step in the process because catching structural problems at the strategy stage costs nothing. Catching them at final design is expensive.
